Gentry performed the Geotechnical Exploration and Analysis as well as the Construction and Materials Testing Services for the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in Weaverville, NC. This was a multi-year project spanning 2014 through 2017. The Project consisted of constructing five single story, pre-fabricated steel buildings to service the facility. Construction work included the buildings, underground utilities, a segmental retaining wall, infill of the existing storm water basin, installation of a proposed storm water detention basin, driveways and parking lots. Gentry was involved with the project beginning with the preliminary soils testing in 2014 through closeout in 2017. Gentry performed the pre- construction soils analysis and the construction materials testing services including but not limited to; concrete, soil compaction and roadway pavement testing, and retaining wall inspection services.
